Akira is such a classic great series from back in the day i remember reading akira for the very first time when i was 16 such is a good series that honestly would be good for a remake without no question man without saying anything after the 4 or 5 volume thing's truly get wild like the mad max series

@@boymeetstv man Hollywood has been trying to make a akira live action movie for 30 years straight without any progress at all man Hollywood should just let it go because the development process is pretty slow without no questions and also this movie has perpetually been stuck in development hell This honestly felt like the development history of battle angel alita in some ways

@@nickwatts5269 that's definitely not the path to production I want for one of my favorite stories of all time, but it almost seems inevitable that we will get a "Hollywood" version of Akira. Manga/anime seems to provide a solution to a two-fold problem hollywood has currently: (1) only wanting to release movies with built-in fanbases/marketability; (2) audiences fatigue with remakes/sequels/universes. In the decade or so, we're probably going to see the most anime adaptations we've ever seen. Hopefully more of them come in the form of longform series like One Piece, but I imagine there will be at least a few stabs at box office glory.

​@@nickwatts5269 you know, if it's still Taika Waititi at the helm of the live action adaptation by the time it goes into production, I'm going to be a little worried. He has done some pretty good stuff but at the same time, some stuff I'm not a huge fan of. Plus, the project seems to be 4th or 5th on his list of priorities at the moment, which doesn't bode well

@@boymeetstv i do a lot of video editing myself, so I know how long it takes. Even on videos that don't have much to them, they still take a long time to do, so I can only imagine the amount of time it would take to produce great content like this. Keep going. This is a pocket on KZbin that doesn't have many people covering it and you've got everything ready to go. Won't be long before the algorithm props your channel up.

Geez I wish someone had mentioned this sooner! I’ve never noticed it myself so I imagine it’s all over my videos because I’ve never done anything to remove or prevent it. Ill work on it for the future vids probably nothing I can do to the old ones
