Hi Shu, is this house still available ?

It looked like it had a great potential, I think just empty and clean - it it’s already good enough to sleep, eat, shower and live in it. But renovated obviously better. … what’s airbnb potential on something like this vs renting it out

Fell into your channel, so much to learn about Akiya. I was born in Kawasaki city so brings back memories of my bike riding days thru Shotengai. I will keep on watching, thank you.

I'm always impressed that abandoned houses in Japan look so great. Here the minute that a house is abandoned you find squatters and people who will trash and rip out anything of value. I know that it will be years before I can even dream of trying to buy and refurbish a house in Japan, but listening to your walk around such houses I actually learn what to look for when I finally get enough saved. Plus we always get great views out of those windows. The best part of your videos is you never try selling us your business as I don't think I ever really heard you mention it. You mentioned other businesses when you interviewed people but never yours. Seen you offer to help others in the comments but only if they mentioned an interest in purchasing a house.

Loved the suspense in the intro! Awesome location, Train Station, Cafés and supermarkets nearby is just superb. Definitely enjoyed seeing this particular Akiya. The Sun is out, and it brings everything to life. Those shades look really nice on you! 👍

I got to go back to my parents' hometown, Kawasaki, one day. My father missed it so much since they fled their home near the Army's airstrip because of aerial bombing..

I can see why it went under contract so fast. It was a mess inside but has so much potential! Kawasaki looks like a nice city, the property has land, and it’s so close to Tokyo. I’d take a chance on that.

It seems the road access is from the back yard. You can potentially lower the grade, build a garage and a lower level.

I’m wondering if you can make offer but only if it passes an inspection for mold, water leak or structural issues? Great content, never miss an episode.

To be fair Musashi Kosugi is probably the most bougie place in Kawasaki, I really like it there. Apparently its a very desirable place to live like Kichijoji because of its accessibility. Toyoko (Tokyo-Yokohama), Saikyo (Saitama-Tokyo), Yokosuka (Yokosuka-Chiba), Meguro/Mita/Nambu (can go to very central Tokyo in Minato), and even a stop on the Narita Express.
Definitely, a contender for the investor. Kawasaki location with land, rebuildable, near the train station..... gets an "A". 👍👏 P.S. A one-story is a huge plus!

when you register your property you become the Owner and they hold Ownership title since you REGI-stered (REGI is the crown corp), you have full liability and they can take it off you anytime, thats the Baby-loan system also happens with the KOZEKI give away your babies and them rent them back as Pair-rents.

I remember reading in one of your blog posts that purchasing real estate in Japan as an investment was not a good idea due to lack of appreciation. Is that still the case or has your opinion changed?

I am interested in purchasing akiyas, throwing them into an LLC and give myself that as a salary, perhaps that can get me the business green card? Once I get the capital I will definitely study the details more closely.

Could you do a video about how to get rid of personal belongings like you had in that appartment you showed us? I heard and have seen it is very expensive. Do you have any recommendation to get it done by someone not trying to rip you off?

There’s no road? And no parking?it’s up a few flights of stairs. And it’s a “good location”?? I suppose when those new flying cars come out, it’ll become worth a punt. But I can’t see anyone renting that for 7万. Especially not female. 4DK is too big for 1. Kids? Shopping when it’s raining? Break a leg? Need an ambulance? Gee! That’s a TERRIBLE location, no matter how near it is to the station. Any renter is gonna be done with that place after a year. I mean why would you rent it? I bet you can find much better for 7万 in Kawasaki. Come on! Show us something decent!
