The thing that annoys me the most with the redeemer change was that a major part of why they got the rid of the default drop ship capability was because they had to put the hab downstairs in order to fit the S3 components and now they have got rid of them. The whole interior should get a redesign to move the hab upstairs and have the bottom section modular so you don't have to choose between the hab or other modules.

Maybe the shield change on the Redeemer was more about getting the shield module on and off the ship then reducing it's hp? The larger shield doesn't fit down the ladder.

CIG mentioned previously that there were external hatches for removing the S3 parts. I think it's more about that they gave it big guns and heaps of shielding so the only thing they could do to balance it was nerf was mobility which didn't make sense when it was meant to have those powerful state of the art engines.

Internet connection has never been a problem in the UK.. Even at a festival you can stream video no problem..

With the new changes of the ship components and weapons aren't they going to have to redo the interiors? I mean going from two size threes to six size two. Wil there be enough room to physicalize all these extra components?

With the ATLS pricing, one thought is that it costs more than an upgrade from a Spirit C1 to a Zeus CL (assuming ship prices don't change) if people want to (or need to) ration spending.

i would say tho some of the old concept stuff and brochures talk about the redeemer as a heavy fighter and having boosted shields. if engineering is coming also the redeemer might be getting that shield boost.

The redeemer shield ruduction isnt as big of a deal as the weapon nerf. Its a gunship. It should at least have quad size 4 if they were worried about range. But the range is why that ship was desirable.... Might as well just rock the hammerhead now.

The power plant and coolers on the 400i have changed but the shield is still the same size(1 size 3)?

does really have to have very large guns if you have a ton of extra power on the ship to fuel the smaller turrets. overall dps could be much higher than other ships with simular guns. better at dropping fighters and shields.

The Redeemer reduced to 36,000 shield HP? That is only 18% of current shields. (Currently it has 200,000 HP!) Essentially it will be destroyed in 1/5th the time. The Redeemer has just become a really expensive LTI token.

hopefully they realise what algared is saying is correct and that they need to buff the majority of turret weapon sizes and reduce some ships pilot guns to make the ships fun to multicrew. they need to get past the solo pilot fantasy.
