You definitely deserve more subs. Your reviews probably the most informative in terms of getting objective informations and measurements that i can use to my personal preference.

Bought these switches a month or two ago and they are super satisfying to type and game on. Awesome sound test and write up!

In my custom keyboard journey, I've tried 32 switches thus far. As far as feel goes, Akko cream black V3 pro's are my #1. I LOVE the long springs and the bottom out feel. They're so crisp. They borderline feel like a tactile sometimes. They have inspired me to put 21/22mm springs in my Morandi's, WS Jade, Oil Kings and more! I'm 50/50 on the sound. Like, I love the sound if my intention is a loud, clacky, crisp build. Putting longer springs in other switches naturally makes them a bit louder, but they still retain their original sound profile for the most part. It's been a fun journey! Your vids are freakin awesome!

I had a board with Oil Kings and I wanted a little more sound but a similar feel and these worked out perfectly for that. They aren't as deep as the Oil Kings but I found them to be pretty much just as smooth, kept a good portion of the deep sound but added some more mid-range frequencies as well. I love Oil Kings but these are super close for quite a bit less and definitely add an extra element IMHO.

@@ClickandThock I just wanted to add that for months my favorite linear was the WS Morandi, super smooth and creamy. However I spent way too much $$$ on almost every Akko switch this year and it's been between this and the Piano pro but I've found there is a bounce back on these that my hands never get tired while using them. They are quickly becoming my favorite linear switch! Just put some Matcha Green Pros in a board and they MUCH more quite than these... they feel somewhat similar but not sure they give that bounce back. Not was I was expecting based upon other Akko switches, really looking forward to your review on those in the near future since I saw the short!

I've got the Akko purple tactiles which I absolutely love. They're my top two with (surprisingly) the Gateron browns as best tactile switch. The Gaterons are a bit quieter but the Akko feels a bit better. Probably because of the pre-lube. I do want a linear at home for gaming and that will probably be this Akko V3 in the vid. Akko hits my sweet spot (55g actuation) each and every time. 🙂

Oooh, nice addition that force graph ! But you might want to add the upstroke too, especially for tactiles ! It might ends up with a really cool animation :D

Love this channel, however i highly recommend you upgrade your keyboard as i think the tofu isn't the best for sound tests. Keep it up!

Only problem for the keyboard, I dont want to upgrade it because all the previous switches tested would not be comparable with new tests, and thats all the point... Thank you! :)

I like the graphs at the end that sum up and compare your very objective reviews, but please add a more graph about 'thockness' i'd like to buy the 'thockest' keeb plate ever regardless of keycaps I've already bought, always following your hints. Thanks❤

The problem with thockness is that it really hard to quantify , even compared back to back... I can tell which one are thocky and which are not, but it's hard to "rate" on a graph... Thank you!

About the review itself : they really sound decent, and that's almost weird that they're so low priced ! GJ Akko :p Maybe add a slower spring to give a bit more feeling to the press, and you're good to go

I was not very lucky with them. About 20 pieces broke down in just six months. I don't know how to call it correctly in English, some of them began to give out double characters when clicked and some required to press several times to typing.

idk if it's the mic or what but every switch u reviewed sounds similarly clacky
@ClickandThock
@ClickandThock 10 ай бұрын
Not the mic, will get a linear sound comparison very soon, they all sound and feel different, but sometime its more subtle and hard to tell on video.. Sure mic can change the sound, but the fact is that many switches sound really similar... And I use a non gasket keyboard, so if you are used to hear gasket mount keyboard sound tests, mine will sound clackier than gasket one... It's not a bad thing, just a matter of preference!
