Indeed, some professors might be good in research, but suck in teaching. That's why I listed AK lectures #1 in my Top 10 list of Biomedical Science KZbin channels for undergrads! bit.ly/2QI2O2Y

God bless you, man. You are better than 90% of my professors that cant even put together simple concept. The fact that you have done so much work by preparing your notes and drawing to save our time is just heartbreaking. You are such a nice guy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart that you make lives of student way easier!

Mr. A.K. ,I hv seen many of ur lectures, the way u teach, with EVERYTHING WRITTEN on the board , WITH EXAMPLE and DIAGRAMS ,is so effective. (TIME SAVING) Every topic that u explain / n make it too easy to understand. ... Tq so much Sir .

Thanks so much! Your lectures save me! My professors at uni are rubbish at explaining. What you explain in 10-15 min videos they spend 45-90 mins explaining and most times it doesnt even get through to us. You're the best!!

Since the hydrolysis occurs after the substrate has been moved out of the cell and it's being moved against a concentration gradient, I take it the closed state of the ABC transporter stores energy in its conformation?
@jacobklaus50113 жыл бұрын
What allows for the rapid interconversion between the closed state and opened state? I notice there is no energy source drawn...

Is the CFTR also an ABC related transporter?? Or rather, other than the MDR protein what example can I use of an ABC transporter ? For humans
@nazlcantoptas30266 жыл бұрын
CFTR is very similar to ABC transporters except that it function as a ion channel not as a pump. MDR1 in the plesental mebrane and brain blood barrier is an example of ABC transporters.

So what's the difference between P-pumps and ABC-transporters? They both create a electrochemical gradient lol?

ABC transporters in humans have 4 subunits, not one.
