thanks sir. you helped me a lot and i am so grateful. btw, in my text book, it says that glucose not only acts as allosteric inhibitor of phosphorylase a , but also cause a conformation change of the enzyme, such that the phosphorylated serine get exposed to a PP1 , and PP1 dephosphorylate these serine and thus coverts the enzyme into its phosphorylase form.

Where does phosphorylase B come into play here? Is it simply not relevant because it is insensitive to AMP?
