Knowing the Bols is only possible if one learned the Tabla with complete notation.
@tintala15 жыл бұрын
according to mythology, it was ganesh who played the PAKHWAJ, the ancestor to the tabla, Indian Music transcends religious boundaries, music IS the religion.

@tintala The word you are looking for is "Spirituality," not "Religion."
@laykaarsur418712 жыл бұрын
NICE ONE
@tintala13 жыл бұрын
@theasdfghjklify ummm no, I meant "RELIGION", religion by default has boundaries. Zakir Hussain was born in Punjab as a muslim, yet performs with HINDU elements alot!

@tintala Are they intended to be interpreted as Hindu elements though? Believe what you want Tintala, that's the beauty of not just Indian Classical Music, but music in general. Hence the word Spirituality is more appropriate. Kumar Bose himself has said that "through his music, he feels connected spiritually."

@theasdfghjklify you know what, I am mature enough to know exactly what I meant.
@theasdfghjklify13 жыл бұрын
@tintala You know tintala that it was the Muslims who brought this music to the hindus? Hindus learnt tabla from the Muslims. Why do you think that there were not any prominant hindu tabla players 100 years ago? It's because Tabla was kept for the Muslims.
@tintala13 жыл бұрын
@theasdfghjklify ummm NOOOOOO< Persia had more influence than muslims, besides, the pakhawaj and mantra was mentioned in the Gita 5,000 yrs ago,,, stop talking to me.... I am going to block you.
@BanarsiPaan12016 жыл бұрын
people r just jealous because muslims r the best musicians of india.. They brought this music 2 india and devoloped it.. It`s with their grace and love that they teached hindus and others.. It`s by their grace that the banares gharana was maid.. PT Ram Sahai learned with old muslim ustad.. So give respect and then you will get it

whats this got to do with hindu muslim. please get a life. all ur comments are inaccurate anyways. no other muslim country (leaveaside pakistan) has any music close to quality of indian classcial music. so, this is not a hindu muslim thing. it is indian. also u are forgetting south indian classical music.
