Akrapovič is celebrating 20 years of two- and four-wheel world titles in 2020 since Colin Edwards became the company’s first champion in 2000, when he rode his Akrapovič-equipped Castrol Honda VTR1000SP1 to WorldSBK glory.
To celebrate this historic event, Akrapovič has released an exclusive film featuring Edwards describing his racing career, which has gone hand-in-hand with the Slovenian company, and the moment both he and Akrapovič had their first taste of world title success.
With behind-the-scenes access and personal interviews, including insights from founder Igor Akrapovič into how the exhaust for the first world championship was developed, this is an interesting journey through 20 years of global success for Akrapovič.

Aah Colin, a great racer - the battle with Ducati and Bayliss was incredible. I have only had Akrapovic aftermarket exhausts on the various bikes I have had. Sometimes I have bought a bike with a different aftermarket exhaust- the quality isn't there
