Liability is something which will have future cash outflows. Whereas expense is something where there is cash outflow at the present. If something doesn't give any cash outflow on future it may not be liability. Only of there is an outflow it will amount to liability.

I think everyone, young or old, should have an investment plan that increases their financial return by three to six figures. hey akshat, I have been watching your vides for quite a time now and I really appreciate your effort to bring a content like this. In your goal on very first video you have mentioned that you would want to inspire ppl but most of the videos have been on education and finance relating to salaried individuals. I would request you to make some videos for ppl from sports background(which is picking up in India and still not on par with countries like Australia etc). Like you can discuss problems with gvt, ppl mind sets, how small countries are doing better than us etc. and some safety net for sports aspirants so that their life won't stop if they fail. Not talking about cricket at all.

Stocks are also not completely liquid .. stock markets are highly volatile.. this may not allow us to liquidate or sell the stocks at our desired levels... In fact in March 2020 some of us had seen -20% as well in our portfolios...
