@@kartik9451 I have not read any research paper about it, but my understanding is that since every person is going to buy mutual fund on 1st of month, markets are aware of that fact and you will be buying Mutual higher at higher NAV, as compared to some other day of month. This difference will look very small when you compare it over few months, but if you're invested for a longer duration, then by investing on some other day (i.e. , 15, 22) you will be consistently buying Mutual funds at lower NAV and get higher returns in long term.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now.
