AKTINA TV Report: Greek Music Journey 2015: Yannis Kotsiras in New York!

The report includes 9 videos of songs performed at AKTINA's concert held at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College in New York City on April 17, 2015 in front of a capacity crowd. Performing with Kotsiras were the exceptional musicians Akis Katsoupakis (Keyboards) and Kostas Michalos (Guitar/Vocals) whose talents are in full display in this report. Also included in the report is commentary and an interview with Yannis Kotsiras. The concert was produced by Elena Maroulleti, Executive Producer and co presented by AKTINA Productions, Inc and CYPRECO of America. I was thinking exactly the same thing as you. She ruined this video with her constant pest chatting like this was a gossip column, really disgusting. Then I wonder if they forced Yianni to play the guitar and wearing a jacket. He looked uncomfortable and the hot lights made him sweat. Then the idiotic request for him to sing new york new york WGAF!!!!!!!!!! Stupidity at its finest. This man is an incredibly accomplished singer in Greece where he has sang many times at Herod Attikou esp 2001 performing ΑΞΙΟΝ ΕΣΤΙ with Μικη Θεοδωρακης conducting. He should have been at Carnegie Hall in nyc NOT THAT armpit college auditorium. Then you had that idiot presenter speaking english to Yianni looked ridiculous. SHABBY PRODUCTION ALL AROUND and Yianni from the looks of things was not comfortable.
