Cool straw hats ... I have a Stetson panama hat ... works great in the sun, but I also love my Akubra "Leisure Time" in the summer (Color: Light Sand). New hat from KTG ... super cool ... can't wait to see it. A green Skypiece from Kevin is on my list ... 😊 Regards from Austria 🇦🇹✌🤠

That's Stetson is a good looking hat. I wish they offered a version of it with a cotton sweat band instead of leather. I live in Florida and the heat and humidity doesn't work good with leather.

I'm still on the hunt for a perfect Summer straw hat. I have an Akubra straw offering (that was unfortunately eaten by the conveyor belt in the security line at Hartsfield here in Atlanta). And I've got one of those Amazon hats too - but it's a bit too heavy. I'd actually like to find more of a cowboy hat that's straw. I've tried a version of the Open Road hat but it wasn't quite right. Oh well, the journey continues...

Ouch about your Akubra! I’ve often thought about a straw Stratoliner. Those look nice. If Akubra were to come out with a straw Campdraft or Federation, that would be great. Good to hear from you!

@@HatLifeAdventures If you happen to remember, Penman came out with a version of the Indy hat that was a fusion of felt and straw. He meant it to be a Summer Indy hat - not sure how that one worked out but it was a valiant effort.

@@HatLifeAdventures From the website it looks like the style has changed, but he still offers a straw/felt hybrid. I liked the old style better - it was closer to the Raiders style.
