I love how raging demon became a CA. Not just from a gameplay perspective, but lore too. It makes sense that Akuma would only use this most against those who proved themselves worthy to see it.

Great video, but you are wrong when you say modern doesn’t have raging demon. If you press R3 while looking at modern specials/supers, you can see the motion inputs that are available to modern. That is where you would have found raging demon. It is a L > L > M > H input, for anyone wondering

​@westhebest3836 You can still use Raging Demon in Modern, you just have to input it manually. Every character has a move or two that allows you to input them manually, just press R3 in the Command List and it'll show you them.

i think on twitter they posted that there is a raging demon input for modern controls with L L M H being the input to see it I think youd have to click R3 to see it

I'm no street fighter player but I find the game very cool and I know akuma and Ryu and those characters. But honestly his voice actor has so much more action and feelings put into it being actually evil and sounding very amazing as he does this 1000 death movie than the Japanese version voice actor. I expected more from the Japanese dub than the English dub

Weird choice to give the female fighters different expressions to the punches during raging demon. Males look like they are dying while females are like “ouch, it stings a bit”.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed that. Like the guys look like they’re dang near about to throw up every time they get hit with their eyes and their tongue popping out their heads. But the girls just close their eyes and it looks painful enough, but not at the same time. It actually bothers me. I guess capcom didn’t want to see the brutality of beating up women, but I guess so.😒

@@bryceplayer1012 yeah, my first thought after seeing his lvl3, win outro and raging demon on Ryu in his gameplay trailer was “i wonder what it will look like on the other characters”. I had a feeling that Ryu gets kind of a special treatment with it for story reasons and for the fact that he was used in the trailer. Even some of the male fighters don’t have their eyes rolled back during the raging demon, but i didn’t expect them to change it this much for female fighters. Not that i get off on seeing women get beaten up brutally but this is a disservice to Akuma tbh.

Kinda feels like a nothing burger for him in the arcade story ladder where his motivation is just to find worthy opponents and that's it, I mean it's no different from what he has been usually been doing for decade now but I'm hoping that in World tour we get to learn more about him throughout our interactions with him if possible. As for his gameplay he's pretty standard to play if anyone knows Akuma, I will say tho that most of his new tools he has will cause some problems for those fighting him. His Demon flip into whatever he chooses I think will be his best move in the game. Also as far as his raging demon on everyone looks damn sick but rather awkward for some(minus the waifus cause reasons) with their ass up after his win pose, stll pretty funny tho XD.
