Known for their great hardness, stamina and speed over short distances, the Arab-Barb horse plays a central part in Morocco’s culture and history. Despite its status, this breed has been neglected in recent decades. Now thanks to organizations such as SOREC and Al Assl Tayeb the Arab-Barb is undergoing a revival and is slowly moving back to the foreground of Moroccan culture.
