Here's the backstory: For decades AL BAIK used to only exist in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (then Mecca and Medina, the 2 Muslim holy cities). They refused to expand, even though they were insanely popular. And they only sold chicken pieces and fries. Even in the 90s, it was 10 RIYALS ($2.50 USD) for an entire box.. 4 large pieces of chicken, fries and a bun...and UNLIMITED insanely delicious GARLIC SAUCE (Thom).. you had to ask them to give you more garlic, and they would.

The cashier got it wrong. This bun isn't a burger. It's a bun that comes with chicken. Also you can't just order 2 pieces of chicken, this is called broast it's 4 pieces of different parts of chicken I'm glad you liked it♥️

This is reason why many of the fastfood chains mlpay more in mall rents to prevent albaik from opening an outlet, because albaik just smoke every other outlets

What makes it hype is it’s CHEAP PRICE and it fills you up, unlike most fast food restaurants , they getting more expensive everyday fam.
