Accepting the authority of every appointment to a spiritual role by Prophet Muhammad is essential to fully accepting his prophethood, but the position of Ali and the following 11 Imams as flawless and not subject to the consultation and election of Al Muslimeen seems to defy Al Qoor'aan and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad. Not even the events of the life of Muhammad's life justify a change in sacred months or observances. Why then would Ali's life have events that we are to enact without a recommendation from the types of direct Divine revelation and inspiration that stopped with Muhammad? The sound of the last few minutes needs fixed, if possible.

Ali may Allah have mercy on him followed the 1st 3 khalifah. Not only that he knew that Prophet Mohammed loved and respected them too which he showed respect to them by naming his own children with their names. Thats following and honouring Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman. No where in any hadith says Ali is going to be prophet mohammeds successor and the shia take the hadith and interpret it to how they feel. If you dig deep you will find the answer.

You make a good point . But in the Quran it says you must obey what Allah (swt) and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) have told you. So prophet Muhammad (pbuh) choosing Imam Ali (as) at ghadeer is so important because it’s an order from Allah (swt) in surah 5:67. So basically not accepting Imam Ali (as) as the immediate successor is rejecting The Quran. Think about that

Educate yourself in understanding your religion. Ali even loved the first 3 khalifah that he even named his sons after them. He respected them and FOLLOWED them. If RIGHTS were taken he would have fought them but his right was not taken and he obeyed them.

When he was in the holy city he had some people that were ready to rise like Ammar ibn yassir and Soliman Al Farsi. However he was continuously betrayed in his life and had only a few little men. By the time of the second caliph Islam was bring threatened from all sides. The Imam know when to stay quiet and went to speak (e.g Jamal and Siffin). As for the issue of naming his children he named his child uthman and after uthman ibn maddon. Hie children were named from early sahabas.
