Grew up on al green gospel as a child , now as a man in my 30s, this particular song brings tears to my eyes ,,not sad but happy tears , I just got a great promotion at the hospital where I work, my daughter is dually enrolled at the college , and next June she graduates high school, just got approved yesterday for a new upgraded luxury sporty vehicle I never thought I'd own. Next step is home ownership, I've seen and experienced a lot , at times gave up on myself bc I was at low points in my life , but knowing my elderly dad and teen daughter needed me kept me going. Prayer changes things, pain is power and I know like Al Green , I cant stop believing, I can't stop praising, I cant stop trusting God, I cant stop smiling bc I know all I have is from God , I cant stop and I won't stop, this is just the beginning, Love You Al

Grew up listening to Al Green , courtesy of my mother,,rest in peace, who kept me in church, as i got older I understood the principles of how gospel is a weapon to your spirit , and if u feed your spirit and mind the truth it makes u untouchable , I am Thankful bc gospel motivates me daily and i listen to it daily , without God we are nothing, but with God All Things Are Possible, I'm A Living Testimony that I'll never stop bc I know i have greater purpose, and Victory is Mine

Right on. I'm 21, and I obsess over the "old" stuff (collect records/tapes/trivia, blahblahblah..). Have been since about the same age as you. I get the feeling there's really probably a lot more of us "young'uns" listening to classic artists than we realize. We've just got to find each other is all.
