The doctor probably told her this because he probably was running down possibilities as to the reason she fell ill, one of those possibilities being if she was pregnant and wasn't getting the proper nutrition she needed. So he was probably listing blood test results and stating "You're not pregnant" to tell her pregnancy isn't the reason she fell ill. To be honest I was just as happy as Spencer when I first saw this cause those two with a child would indeed be frightening considering they haven't matured past being children themselves
