When WWE is seen as “the only thing that matters” you’re going to get job scared wrestlers. This is why monopolies are bad and were always bad in wrestling. This is why Vince McMahon killed the business. When you set it up where your company is the end all be all, guys are gonna move cautiously because they don’t want to get released. Look at how Trevor Lee aka Cameron Grimes reacted to being released from his contract. Dude treated it like it was the end of his existence. It’s essential that there be more options in wrestling for guys and that will alleviate the complacency.

Wrestling is a billion dollar industry because of vince how did he kill it lol if he realy did then there would be no wrestling today plus not all wrestlers react that way many of them are doing just fine outside wwe there are more oppurtunities in wrestling now than they were before plus triple h is the one doing most of the releases and wat do you think abt him also trying to buy out other wrestling promotions.

Nic Nemeth and Mustafa Ali and perfect examples of what happens when you don’t get complacent with the outcome of your career. They flipped a release from the alleged “big leagues” (Yeah right ) and maximized their position in other promotions that actually valued them as wrestlers and not disposable entertainers.
