@@rac7773 "Eight Days A Week" came out in late 1964. The title "Eight Arms To Hold You" was only publicly promoted in early 1965.

@@marywealth6475 Thank you. But Al tried to sell that song to the Beatles. So, the date that Al released it may have been much later than the composition. But again, thanks. I enjoy both songs.

This was not thought out very well. The title was originally a reference to The Beatles. There were four of them, each having two arms, so eight arms in total. In THIS song, the narrator seems to have eight arms all to himself! Is it supposed to be a prequel to "Octopus's Garden"?
