One of my absolute favourite games from childhood. Brilliant music as well. Movie tie-in games were notorious for being crappy cash-grabs, but Ocean got it absolutely right on this occasion. Amazing what some people used to be able to do with 64K of RAM.

This is a much more colourful game than the almost monochrome C64 version, but the sid rendition of the same tunes is much nicer on the ears.

"What are you?" "I'm Batman!" I played this game only on the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 🐱👍. Problably the best movie tie-in, that has ever made to the home computers. And by the way, today is my birthday 😸😺👍. I'm turned into 39 years old 😹!

Me too; my first game with the Batpack Amiga for Christmas. But crikey this Amstrad version is awful in comparison - that squiffy perspective for the car and jet stages...ugh!

Probably - I was using a cartridge image on a CPC 6128 Plus config (one with Burnin' Rubber included in the ROM)

@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays The intro screen is abviously the GX4000/CPC+ version, but I think this is the only difference for the + version ...

Looks like the GX4000 version. Think I read it has slightly enhanced presentation. A very slight change in colour palette and disappointingly doesn't run as well as the standard 464 version

@@robsmall6466 Probably on a GX4000 cause it's clocked a bit lower. Maybe on a Plus machine will be the same?

@@104d_3rr0r_vince Would think Plus and GX4000 would be identical. I think Xyphoe ( Amstrad KZbin content creator ) did a website featuring nearly all the GX4000 games and their pros and cons a while back. Might be more info there or CPC Power
