I remember when Mr. Roach was playing at Brooks high school and then going to Alabama. His family lived a few houses up the road. My son and nephews would go there during Christmas and he would always sign their BAMA caps. He is a class act just like his family.

Coach Roach is a great well spoken coach who has had and will continue to have the right stuff for coaching football as well as recruiting and developing young men . So far one thing I’m enjoying a lot that is different from Coach Saban’s tenure is hearing so many interviews with the great assistant coaches 👍🏻. I never minded what Coach Saban did with assistants and the media as that was his standard and I totally respected it. It was actually very necessary when Coach Saban came in 20007 to HAVE ONE VOICE FOR A THEN-FRACTURED-PROGRAM suffering from powerful booster interference and other toxic elements that COACH SABAN ELIMINATED ON DAY ONE! Thank you Coach Saban for all you did to save and build the Alabama program and brand for so long. Also I send a big thank you to Coach DeBoer for taking the Alabama job. He also is a great coach and will be great for Alabama. He is the NEXT GREAT ALABAMA COACH and nobody SHOULD VIEW that role as replacing Coach Saban which of course nobody can ever replace any coach much less the G.O.A.T. Every new head coach anywhere is just the next guy to build on what is there. Of course following Coach Saban is a double edged sword as Coach Saban built an AMAZING PROGRAM AND STARTING POINT FOR THE NEXT COACH but as UNFAIR and unrealistic as it is, Coach Saban’s success will be held against the new coach at some point by someone. But I think most true fans will be fair and happy with Coach DeBoer and his Tide Teams! 🏈 Roll 🐘 Tide 🏈!
