So you don't throw a different color on the trailer? So in TN for say Douglas n Cherokee u stick to blades with the 3.25?
@BassGeek4 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I’ll put a larger target on the trailer or a different color but honestly if they gonna hit it they are gonna hit it. On Cherokee yes most the time that’s the starting point and that may depend on if I’m down lake or up lake fishing for large heads or smallies, on Douglas I will upsize slightly at first 3.8’s but since I’m targeting largemouth mainly I’m gonna use skinny dippers or something with less action than a wide tail fat impact. I may even put a 5-6 in as we get. Lose to summer on the target at Douglas. But a good get bites starting point is 3.3 in to a 3.8 and go. Blades on Douglas always and Cherokee depends on wind, clouds, and water clarity.

Great videos as always. I understand your reasoning behind the braid but, a lot of folks use it throwing crank baits. David Fritts swears by it. What would be the difference on a crank bait vs the A-Rig? #favoriteyoutuber

Id love to throw an a rig but my State has restrictions on the amount of hooks we can use. I dont want to throw one with a bunch of dummy baits on it, because of this I go to the spinnerbait. Those rigs also look very expensive to get snagged lol. I looked up your veritas rods, thats pretty much the same feedback I get from people who have used them. Guides suck or the blank cracks on a hookset.
@BassGeek4 жыл бұрын
Yeah those rods feel great but just don't hold up. You should toss the Arig anyway it draws bass out.

@@BassGeek Ill give it a try since I never have thrown one. I use some Lews rods but recently I picked up a couple of Phenix rods and I love them. Great value for your money. 30T blank, Sic guides, awesome reel seat. I dont know of many companies that offer a 30T blank with Sic guides for $118 lol.
