Prayers to you Josh with what youve got going on, hope you’re blessed with a healthy little one and your wife returns to health through healing. The work you all do means a lot to all of us. For example personally have a little one here at home and the videos have kept me going through late nights and early mornings as part of my podcast routine, so thankful for you both!! Yeah, I kept it short and simple, but the message in Paul was clearly about enduring hardship and suffering from prison. People often quote that verse about strength and success, when it’s really very clearly about finding peace when things aren’t going how you’d like. It’s a message I’ve always felt we don’t do a great job of promulgating as a faith.

LSU is a way better team than the LSU A&M game made it look. If they re-match I think lsu would be a slight favorite still
@Ultra-BLVАй бұрын
I think Alabama wins 31-27. I just don’t trust LSU’s defense against a mobile quarterback right now. I think Nussmeier is very similar to Beck in that when he throws in rhythm with protection he looks like a first round QB that can shred any defense, but when he starts throwing A LOT (40+ passes) and deals with some pressure, he starts making A LOT of mistakes. I think he has a very similar game that Beck did against Alabama, boom or bust, a lot of yards and a lot of mistakes. I’m terrified of picking against this LSU team at home at night against their biggest rival, but I just think Alabama is the better team.

Condolences on your Father-In-Law. Congratulations on Will. Our bio son (our older son is adopted because my wife had issues with miscarriages until she turned 40) had some issues and was in the NICU for 3 months. I'm not sure if they have a Ronald McDonald house there, but it was a great resource for us, especially since we lived 30 miles from the hospital. I appreciate that you are here, but if you have to be gone for a while, I will come back when you come back. And I am sure I am not alone in that sentiment. Selfishly, as a Buckeye, I am hoping you will do Indiana at OSU in a couple of weeks. I am guessing Michigan at Indiana isn't happening this week. And given Michigan's record, you might not have anyhow. I expect that to be a double-digit Hoosier win.
@nicholaskling2425Ай бұрын
This game (like Tennessee) will be all about if Milroe can hit the open receivers. Alabama should have advantages on offense, but if he can’t make the reads or throws, LSU’s defense will get very aggressive at the line

LSU against Marcel Reed was simply a major issue of not being prepared for him to come into the game and Nuss threw 3 INTs within LSU's own 30 that set up short fields and kept the defense on the field without much time to adjust to a shift in game plan. Unforgiveable because that should have been prepared for during the week, but that's what happened. Who else did LSU struggle against with zone read?
@CollegeFootballNerdsАй бұрын
Sellers was absolutely running all over LSU until he got hurt. The two guys like that LSU played both went bonkers - that has to mean something.
@johnfontenot3275Ай бұрын
@@CollegeFootballNerds ah, yes. This is true. Let's also remember that Perkins played most of that game. Since Whit Weeks has come in as the full-time starter, this hasn't happened again, and LSU subsequently played two very mobile QBs with Dart and Taylen Green. Really limited Ole Miss rush in general and shut down Arky. Even with the A&M game, LSU is still sitting at #48 in overall Rush Defense, much higher than Bama.

As a bama fan, I'm hopeful that a 2 loss bama can get in, but I'm going to fact check you on the past (2- loss teams ) rankings. 2019 final cfp selection day, 2 loss bama was ranked 13th. A very close loss to the champion, lsu. And a tight loss to auburn with our backup qb. I feel the 2019 bama team was much more deserving to be top 12, than I think the 2024 squad is today. Thoughts ?
@mrpenguin9107Ай бұрын
I agree but the committee is not supposed to take the championship games into account in the rankings. Basically they are seeding games now. The only thing that could change who is in the playoff is if a team ranked below 12 wins a conference championship, say Colorado wins and that pushes a 12th ranked team out. All that to say, Bama wins out and they are in.
@JayTideАй бұрын
LSU is one dimensional on offense and turnover prone. Their defense also ranks at the bottom of the SEC. If Milroe doesn't turn the ball over Bama will roll.

Genuine question, is Vanderbilt the top 25 team? I follow the big 10 more than the SEC, so seeing them beat Alabama after losing to Georgia Southern has me so confused.
@Fulcrum205Ай бұрын
Georgia Southern has about 50 years of institutional knowledge on how to stop the gun triple that Vandy runs. Alabama sees it about once every 3 years. Bama made a couple dumb turnovers and the Alabama defense played like cross eyed idiots. Also, Vandy has gotten some good players out of the portal and done a much better job recruiting under Clark Lea

As a Tiger fan... I agree. I do think LSUs defense will be able to limit Bama's offense for a good part of the game but they will get tired.. LSU needs run the ball to kill the clock and to score early. I think an 8 point lead will be needed for LSU to win in the fourth quarter because LSU needs to force them to throw the ball. I won't know anything until the first quarter ends. Though I think that Bama will probably win... I can't pick those bammer, yuck!! LSU stadium crowd pulls through and bama is penalized 110 yard and LSU wins 30-27
