Of course morrissey relies on people to play instruments and make melodies since he doesn't play any instruments himself but what he brings to the table is ultimately the vocal melody and the lyrics. Before morrissey puts his vocals on it its just an instrumental piece of music but Alain Whyte is awesome and I wish morrissey was still producing songs with him

It’s too bad he only came back recently for like two tours right after the pandemic. Apparently whoever was Morrissey’s manager at the time was difficult to work with so he left.
