Do you have an electrical diagram drawn up on what wires you extended to move the ecu to the cabin and all the engine fuse boxes and relays to the trunk for a engine bay tuck?
@LakeBuilt
@LakeBuilt 6 ай бұрын
The way that I found best to do it was to lay out the actual harness and just label which wires need to go where, then re route them and make new splits. I only really wrote down the wire colors that I would extend, if that makes sense?

Hi, Im currently working on making about 450-500whp on my is300. I decided to go with GT3582R turbo, forged rods, 2JZ-GTE headgasket, some 1000cc injectors, LP340 fuel pump ( i know i need some fuel regulator and some details fuel related. Im going to do 2 maps, one for 330 ish hp and the second one for the 450+ goal. Even though I did some research, could you tell me if im missing something important engine related? also, I wonder ifoil cooler for the engine is worth doing for this kind of power?
@LakeBuilt
@LakeBuilt 3 ай бұрын
Hey man, for that power goal what you have listed will be plenty strong. As far as an oil cooler goes you don't need one at all, there are 1000+ hp 2jzs out there that aren't running them. So not necessary at around 450hp. But if you want to run one you definitely can, it definitely will help the oil temps.

Is this on a factory 2JZ-GE
@LakeBuilt
@LakeBuilt 2 ай бұрын
@buya_pr Yes sir. Just rebuilt with stronger internals. I prefer to go this route because you can build a GE for cheaper than buying a GTE swap. And the GE will handle more power that way
@buya_pr

@@LakeBuilt Wow that’s Impressive. I didn’t know that a GE can handle all of that power. I always thought that a GTE swap was required to make that much power. Now I know there is hope for my IS, lol!

Help!?from the UK I got a 02 lexus is300 2jz ge European I'm getting confused with blocks and heads and vvti parts good or bad. Somethings I understand I got a lot to do to achieve a turbo build. Can anyone help me out with what I need to change, keep or modify to maybe either turn 2jzge into a 2jzgte if that is a thing or 2jz ge turbo build Thanks in advance
@LakeBuilt
@LakeBuilt 6 ай бұрын
@tonystark9082 so you can build a 2jz GE into a more reliable/higher hp rated engine then a stock 2jz GTE is. Price wise you'll be spending about the same to build a GE then to buy a GTE in most cases, it'll actually be cheaper to just build your existing GE engine. The GE vvti cylinder head also flows more air compared to a GTE head also so that's a plus.
