this is one of the best dioramas I have seen. The figures look so different, one from the other. The colors, the confusion (which it must have been like), the buildings and the terrain all make this in the top 5% and I haven't seen the other 4% yet. What a labor - congrats. I hope you're proud. A Texan no doubt.

It's too crowded with soldiers, and it does not show Travis committed suicide at the north wall, nor Crockett surrendering to the Mexican soldiery. Nor Bowie begging for his worthless life! BUT, I'll give the mate who made the diorama, a "C" for effort...see how nice I am?

This little video of the battle of the Alamo, is much better than most of John Wayne's movie about the battle of the Alamo. Most of his movie showed nothing but, boring and irrelevant ....bullshit! He was much too stupid to plainly stick to the basic historical facts....the siege and the ensuing battle. No wonder the movie was a big flop, and he lost his shirt....and his pants also, on.that lousy flick.

The battle scenes were great..the move slow and ponderous..he wanted the small role of Sam Houston...the studio exec s wanted him to play Crockett...you dont have to like the movie i didnt ( but love battle scenes) but at least try and act mature about it instead of acting like the obvious Worm that you are.....just saying.

Yeah ..waynes film wusnt true to facts but that's Hollywood ..i saw it with my dad at the Tower ? theater downtown Dallas..my child's mind thought it beautifull...may I keep that??
