Good effort. The 2004 Disney movie, “The Alamo” took great pains to represent the final battle as it historically happened. As well as the action taking place in pre-dawn darkness, extra details were added. Dozing Texan pickets outside the walls were surprised and killed. Trenches were dug by the defenders as literal “last ditch” defences in the plaza and in the dirt floors of the Long Barracks. These are seen along with the fates of the Texans who used them.
