Can you mic the CA901 and the CLP795gp from the speakers and soundboard? I space the mics 2 octaves apart from middle E 26 inches on E2 and E6. 6 inches from strings

A common problem with these mics is sounding very dry. Did you add reverb to your recording?

i'll ask the sound tech; i think no. All pianos have a natural string reverb type effect as a result of string resonance throughout the sustained harp.
