Donner Delay Pedals | Wave and Yellow Fall Delays

Nice demo from someone who actually knows how to use delay! Have a project of a "cheap" board for kicks and giggles, yes these are very useable! I like the wave as a carbon copy wanna be. Nice pedal!

The Yellow Fall was my first purchase from Donner. I'm impressed. Great price! Heavy Duty. Small and fits nicely into my single tier board.

Great demo man. You’re a really good guitar player. Thanks for sharing. You guys seem like good people and I’ve enjoyed the content you’ve been putting out. I just picked up the Donner Yellow Fall as I just want a simple delay to use subtly in the background, maybe an always on thing. I’ve had a Boss DM-2W and a Strymon DIG and I eventually sold both of them. Wish I had kept the DM-2W but the Strymon was to much for my taste and it added it’s own sound to my tone which I didn’t care for. I’m hoping this little Yellow Fall will fill the delay void for now. these mini pedals are great if you set them and leave them alone, but if you need to change settings on stage the tiny lettering and knobs can be troublesome.

I've got the Donner Echo Square delay and I feel it does both these. But I could be wrong since I don't have either of these. I do have a Carbon copy on my board also so I do have a analog delay on board. Between both I'm happy to have delay covered on my board. I'll keep my C C cause I glued a Lego piece to the mod button so I can add mod while using my board. Convenient. But also have a Boss CH-1 on the board for chorus. Try to have a bit of everything on hand.

Misinformation they’re analog sounding delays. They use the PT2399 chip which is digital.

yeah the PT2399 is a cheap digital chip that does the delay thing, and then these analog voiced pedals all use analog circuitry to filter the repeats. It's crazy how many different flavors there are of delays using this same chip at this point!

it would be fun to take the Yellow Fall (either of them really!) and hack it into an old wah or volume pedal so you can control that knob with your foot .
