Yeah, I know what you mean. Somehow it doesn't sound as harsh on the studio album. The guitar is maybe too responsive for that effect to sound good.

That is a VERY sensitive instrument, holy shit. It sounds like it will reward virtuosic technique and punish sloppiness very quickly.
