Believe me, Wilders is in no position yet to do anything about the Muslim "threat". You and Alan Jones for that matter need to learn a bit about how Dutch politics work. As someone who has lived there for 30 years and only very recently visited the sheer number of political parties in the Netherlands will prevent Wilders from going too far for the simple reason that he will have to enter a coalition with one or possibly two other parties and no other party is prepared to go to the extreme lengths Wilders would want to. Read up on Dutch politics and see how they work.

The failure of this country to match the military strength of the larger nations in our region is just another example of how Australia has, through poor judgement over a number of decades, weakened itself by ignoring questions of defence capability. Choosing, instead, to obsess over lifestyle type issues at the expense of fundamental matters of existence, the most important of which is, the defence of the nation. Australia's military is far too small to achieve the task required of it as it is vastly dwarfed in terms of numbers of personnel and equipment by all of its neighbours. We have been poorly led by both sides of politics in this country as both parties pander to the latest politically correct nonsense while letting multinational corporations pay no tax and still receive taxpayer-funded handouts. This missing wealth could have been used to fund a much more capable military instead of the under-armed and insignificant force we have today.
