😢 I miss him… 2 years from now I just found this song and it touched me. Violence took him from us…. The worst way to die is when your life is taken away by someone else.

A wonderful song written by Ian Bairnson, whose guitar has been an important element in The Alan Parsons Project. The lyrics are very deep and remind us that our life is fragile and should be holy. 5 Stars. Fer

My very dear friend and musician Jeff Pike shared this with me today. Even through it's been almost 18 years since my brother died, I unexpectedly had so much grief today from missing him so.....Being able to hear this song brought peace and comfort.

Why this song was not a major hit when it first came out is beyond me. And why it was not rediscovered and used as a tribute song after the attacks of September 11, 2001 is TOTALLY beyond me. No song would have fit the day and time better than this. Around the 2:30 mark, long before I saw this video, as I would listen to the song I could replay in my mind the second plane hitting the second WTC as people on a nearby street at street level look up in awe and bewilderment. Great song.

I just lost my brother 🙏🏾😇🌼🌄I'll see you in heaven big bro 🥹I'll try my best to stay strong and not be angry at the world, cause it wasn't your time. I would switch in a heartbeat, it's not fair and it never will be. The world Is new now, can never go back. I will forever be proud of you and I'll see you in heaven. My love for my brother is forever.

Technically, it's not an APP. By Alan's own admission in several interviews, the Projects were things he collaborated on with Eric Woolfson. And, I agree, I just love the "I believe this nation should commit itself..." JFK speech excerpt announcing the Apollo program in the song Apollo. Great driving song. Nice emotional recovery after this one wants to make you cry.
