A friend of mine got some old demo tracks of Alan from various years. She listened to them again, not long ago, and told me about the songs.
One song amongst these demo tracks was a song called 'Oh Sally', written and recorded by Alan back in 2000 ♪♫....
I contacted Alan and he was okay with us using his demo song, adding a video-clip to it and putting it on KZbin. ヅ

I personally think too good to be kept pretty much as a secret and to be kept in a drawer.ღ♩♬♪♫♩♬
So, here it is "Oh Sally" - I think, it is weird, so close to the original but still different !!!

Really, MyKessrin, you are soooo right about this song. It's WAY to good to be kept away. And a big thumbs up for the great video! I guess the smile won't leave my face for the next couple of hours, what a sweet song. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Alan and (original) Smokie were my first love in music, and I guess there's still a lot of that love left :) Thanks again for brushing up and dusting off this jewel :)

actually the song is STILL in my mind XD! I keep hearing inside my head "stay with me tonight, oh sally" :P Oh well, I kinda got used to that after I bought the single of "for a few dollars more" in ...eh.... '78? '79? sheesh I'm getting old... I remember that over the first weekend, I "only" played the single 55 times (for a few dollars more/going tomorrow) and then my mom removed the fuse that led to my room from the fusebox. :P

ok, got it all figured out now (living next door to alice) 1. boy loves girl, girl leaves. 2. girl #2 throws herself at boy. life is ok for awhile. 3. Girl #2 gets tired of not being able to live up to the memories of Girl #1 so she leaves ( Sally's song ) meanwhile, boy #2 has been patiently waiting for girl #2 (Oh Sally) and just happens to have a bottle of Australian wine chillin in the fridge

They might reconsider when you explain to them what they will have to face in case of your withdrawal symptoms ;-) Besides, some 20 years after the "fusebox issue" my mom was being tormented with my brother's house/hardcore etc. and guess WHAT??? She asked me to make her a Smokie tape because it was so much better than the music my brother was playing...... Woohoo! Revenge sure is SWEET!!!!!!!
