Having troubles with relationships, acquaintances, friends, lovers... these are the most stressful and anxiety-ridden. It makes me so want to renounce love altogether. Cheers to celibacy!
@MrTetsukobu Жыл бұрын
You have chosen a really harsh path for yourself. It is not necessary when young and having tons of testosterone in your body. Willful celibacy will eventually bring a distortion of your mind (like the pedofile catholic priests). You can´t fight your own instincts, they will defeat your mental resolve soon or later. A very long time ago I was young, with the same conundrum as you, and it was Alan that taught me the only way out of anything is to go through, not out of it. Don´t get married, don´t have children, live alone, and read books about Zen, I stress books printed on paper and think a lot. Only on the weekends, enjoy as many girlfriends as your lust may wish, get caught ¨cheating¨ and go through her rage, that will make your mind very strong and free. Looking back, this was my path, at 71yo and I have an amazing life together with my wife, Lady Solitude and my Arab and crippled old servant Masturb. Good luck!

@@lobintool It's implicit in alot of Alan Watts teachings and he was a great public advocate of beliefs associated with Kashmiri Shaivism and Tibetan Buddhism and a few other strains of Hinduism. In all of these teachings, we turn out to be not a mass of individuals, but many nodes of awareness in one individual. Our essential self is none other than the person of God. We are characterized by luminosity, bliss, wisdom, emptiness and compassion. Now one of the misunderstandigns of emptiness to Westerners (including me for a long time) was that it meant nothingness. What it actually means is unlimited, unbounded, formless without any ability to define or conceptualize; it has the potential for anything. When you are literally capable of anything, you have the freedom to make mistakes. We all forget that we are the same person, that we are all parts of God, that in every plant, dog, cat, and person there is God consciousness. We suffer from Three Root Poisons - ignorance, greed and hatred. When we forget who we are, we start desiring things or else hating them, or both. The worst thing that happened to us is that we forgot who and what we are. www.reddit.com/r/Psychonaut/comments/3t6sei/life_is_god_playing_hide_and_seek_with_himself/ There are many paths that will take you to where you want to go. I wish the people who made this video would realize that the music U put in the background to enhance what's being said needs to be in the *BACKGROUND* not so loud that it competes with what is being said. It can't be at the same volume as the dialogue that makes it a distraction. Learn about vocal and musical frequencies.

Because untill u understand what u saying people cannot believe it. So confronting the ghost with all ur fear is like attacking a lion... Because fear is a thought. So after confronting the ghost u realize it was just a kitten... Then this understanding can help u the essence of what u say... At the end Allan says every word is a illusion... So that's it... He just could stop talking for himself but his helping us understanding beyond words. But for us we needed his guidance with words to finally come to that point I hope this helps u

This is a comment response that I'm posting here incase someone would like to read it : @Richard Brook I can tell you a very limited understanding of existence that I have worked out using logic and reason and research. That is all I have to share. It's possible that I'm wrong. Consciousness is fundamental reality. That consciousness is what people call god. God is the energy source that makes up everything we perceive to exist. Human beings are characters within that consciousness. Just an illusion like a dream. The purpose of humans and the material reality is a way for god to experience itself. God cannot experience itself in another way than this, just as a fire cannot burn itself. (This is puzzling as it suggests a limitation on god - there are things god cannot do) God discovering itself (humans on earth) is purely playful. There is no necessity for god to do this. It's just to play. (Which suggests god likes to have fun). Which is difficult to wrap your head around, but then god would be the creator of the concept of fun in the first place. Human beings are an illusion, but there is a localised consciousness (that appears separate), that is behind each human. This localised consciousness that appears separate, goes through multiple life times on earth experiencing the play. The localised consciousness that appears separate, let's call it a soul. That soul also exists in a realm of existence beyond the illusion of a human on earth. This realm is called heaven. It is an ethereal realm of thought, unlike the earth realm which is material. The heaven realm is also an illusion, as well as the soul. The only real thing is the source consciousness (God). So the process is : God breaks off part of itself into a soul (which is an illusion of localised/seperate consciousness). Separate consciousness means an illusion that it's apart from God. The soul then goes from the heaven realm, periodically back and forth to the material realm, for the process of playful experience. All the information each soul gathers then goes back to God. Eventually, the soul itself goes back and merges with god after it experiences all of God there is to experience. The soul then is absorbed by god and ceases to be an illusion of separation. So basically we are god, pretending we're not god, to have fun and understand ourselves. We're loners (the only thing that exists) and we make up imaginary friends and stories to keep ourselves busy. How funny is that. It's so stupid that it must be true. Edit : Also funny to note human beings literally spend their lives doing the same thing. Pump out movies, TV shows, books etc. of characters and universes and different experiences. It seems to be we're ultimately solely focused on creativity. Some sort of universal production line of creative experience. Perhaps God is the fundamental creative and it's opposite is boredom. The Great problem on the flip side of the creative.
@paulb68053 жыл бұрын
I think Alan watts mentioned that boredom is a problem to god. Something along the lines of boredom is THE problem for the creative being. The opposite of creativity being boredom.

Anywho I hope you enjoy reading. May you find peace in your heart and may an interesting story be yours....
@jeffxanders39903 жыл бұрын
I think a paradox is simply that which we've yet to understand. Seems to me that the purpose also includes the continued expansion of the Source simplicity into ultimate complexity. This could encapsulate many different aspects of our ultimate being, such as the infinite inward to infinite outward. This alone could suggest an absolute and all powerful Source. I too operate on reasonable assumption but see us all going to our own creations as we live and die and become more and more our own unique Source energy 🙂 I see what we call "God" or Source as being fixed in Its creation, having become by Its own nature. Of course everything is speculation as the necessary ignorance that brought us here keeps us from seeing much of what actually is... and ain't it fun 😜😃🙂
