Nothing is free in this world none of this would be possible without a sacrifice to time. Someone had to take the time to make your phone, someone had to take the time to make Wi-Fi for you to watch this video, it’s a sacrifice well worth the time but nothing in this world is free because for anything to get done and work as intended a time sacrifice needed to happen from someone. So when you watch this video or do your laundry just remember that everything you have and will ever have will require a sacrifice to time. This thought alone inspires me to not waste mine anymore. Even in writing this comment I’m paying my dues in the time it takes to write all of this. The real lesson here that I’m trying to convey is don’t waste your time on anything that doesn’t make you happy. I recently lost friends who I thought were there for me, spoiler alert they weren’t really my friends. And I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Im much happier now because the people that are still there for me are truly my friends and those people make me happy. I hope who ever reads this learns an important lesson and that they have a good day.

Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, “to thine own self be true.” When we’re young children, we are closest to who we really are. As we get older people around us tell us how we should be. While this is an important part of socialization and identity, it often leads us astray from who we really are. We get so wrapped up in our assumed identity that we forget who we are in our heart. So it can be the greatest challenge of our lives to get in touch with our true self so that you can live a happy and meaningful life. And if we can learn it sooner before having children of our own we stand a greater chance of not passing along the negative learned behaviors to them. Break that cycle!

"Whenever you meet a ghost don't runaway" He could be referring to our minds in a way. The ghost is the thought aka something that doesn't exist. So in other words when you have a thought that you don't like then don't runaway from it because it only makes the thoughts stronger. And as he said " The only way to handle danger is to face it". So the only way to handle thoughts are to face them and acknowledge that they exist but don't resist, runaway or fight them because they'll only grow stronger and they'll eventually become feelings. Mindfullness!

Camlo Carter. This is good food for the mind. But in life as some know it, it does seem, to use since when it is other than a thought or day dream. Thoughts are just that. As it is in the life as most know. It is of things that people do say and see. The difference is only how you think at that given minute and keep thinking the minutes on in the moments situation. Balance is Key in all things we do AND think. Myself I get a few different messages from this, and it somes up to just in what people Believe, over all, The things that are good, are just that. The things that are bad are just a thought to use to view a better thought. As i believe nothing Bad last forever, Unless People Choose it to be that way. Most of the people I know , know to believe in themselves and the Spirit Of God ! To think otherwise is a waste of Higher Thinking. As people choose to THINK is of their Free Will. How can we go wrong to think good and greater ways to have Mindful thinking that is Great information to the ONE Mind we came with? Trust your mind to the person it was given to! God Does, because he knows we are in his likeness🌟👍😆

This explanation of opposites being inseparable, like waves needing both crest and trough, brings a whole new perspective. Life’s dualities-fear and courage, existence and nonexistence-are part of the same reality. How different our world could be if we all embraced this idea of unity within duality! Who else feels this can transform our view on conflict and acceptance?

The second was a female in white hospital clothes(i was near a hospital) looking at me at the middle of the road and screaming at my face, and that was the moment when i said to myself - I am stronger then this, i am better then this and i keep walking, i was hearing the ghost walking and screaming behind me, and that was the moment of myblife, when i defeated my fears.I now walk there on a purpose and bless this creatures, and wish i see them again and hope i can help them :) .LOVE AND LIGHT !

How would we indeed observe light, unless we had darkness through which light would stand out. Same for matter in a space, since if all was matter, observation or experience would be literally impossible. Distance allows reflection and reverberation, and with it, a unique combination of possibilities. Life then as a mosaic carpet that fractures along the way, for beauty cannot unfold in perfect integrity.

Can I just say that I believe in you, I believe in the youth and the younger generation! I fully believe you guys are going to save the world, heal the planet, and usher in a new age of higher consciousness. I just know it, with every fiber of my being and on a cellular level... I have always known it. I've felt it coming for years. The world is changing, our realities are shifting, our consciousness as a whole is ascending, and I believe I'm going to get to see it in my lifetime. I know I'm also an important part of it, coz we all are. The pain we experience here has a purpose, or at least it used to, but it's no longer going to be necessary in the new reality we're creating together. Reading all of the comments to these newer songs I have been listening to fills me with hope and so much courage, it connects me to all of you. Starseeds, indigo's, whatever you want to call yourself: this is your confirmation, this message is for you. I love you and am grateful that you specifically exist. Your being here, and you reading this, is no coincidence. The world needs you and your specific light. So shine your light and be your most authentic self above all else, you are perfect exactly as you are. Whatever you are striving to be just know that you are already that, the most high. You have an important mission here and the world needs you desperately. So when you inevitably feel so lost, look into your heart and find yourself and know the truth that you are not alone. Remember you chose this, your being here is not an accident. And so it is. ❤️💛💚💙💜 Ps. Never trust the government kiddies lol

Anyone listening in 2022, thumbs up👍... I have the perspective from early childhood of what Alan is amazingly narrating about, but I am amazed and impressed of how Alan can put it in to words beautifully, he is really graced and blessed. One can feel the enlightenment or whatever you call the realisation, but it's totally different to put it out to others... Its a contemplation to listen to him.

Imagine a life bounded by thoughts and not by time. Hopelessly intertwined by the cover of darkness where nights are days and days are lost. A life you thought you were living to find you’re merely existing. Imagine a life deserved by many but not by you. But at the same time you imagine a life so blissful that vast mountains, wild forests and snow filled peaks is your only sight. The ground beneath your feet connecting your soul to a place that is beyond imagination. The whistle of the trees, the roar of the ocean a world made for pure asthetic appreciation. Imagine a world where the wilderness is home, the stars your salvation, dreams are your sanity and the simple curiosity to explore is the mechanic that drives you to wonder, alone.

I love his intellect...his voice of reason...the articulation. Having died in an accident when i was younger I had been searching to understand what I had experienced. I have managed a simple resolution in that .."it is not who you are...or who you could or should be...it is who you are at the moment of death". The cosmic consciousness does not judge.

Certain things he says sparks a feeling that it all is so obvious and I get a surge of energy throughout my whole body and get goosebumps and the hair on my arm stands up. It’s like a brief feeling of ecstasy. Like a strong feeling of resonance??? Idk but it’s definitely not coincidental. Happens on the drop of a dime when he relays an inherent truth that really resonates and makes sense to me in that moment. The physical response is wild. Might have something to do with the frequencies in the background as well. I know Allan Watts holds the teachings that will allow me to change my mind and my life. It’s just so easy to forget and get distracted with daily life. I need to listen every morning and find a way to do it consistently daily. I’m sure that will cause a shift

I have always enjoyed listening to Alan Watts, including this video. The music, I think, detracts from the listening pleasure. At several points I noticed I was hearing music and waiting for Alan Watts to continue. It seems, to me, one must listen to a person's pauses, as much as the person's words to "get" the communication. Adding music to Alan Watts' spoken word is like "gilding the lilly" or sprinkling sugar on a steak.

It's my opinion but my guess would be King Solomon was the wokest of the woke He was richest man to have ever lived yet he wasn't a tyrant. He allowed pagan worship and idolitry against the teachings of (his) biblical God and continued to be blessed. I read that he is still considered to be the richest man who ever lived and the Bible even says he was so richly blessed because he only asked for wisdom and understanding. Wow..

This is my newest spiritual guide. I knew earlier in my journey into this awakening that… certain things were wrong…. For example … anything that tried to provoke fear… It was wrong to continue even to listen to. It was against my frequency.. cause my body to reject it by nausea🙁so My body would react to other things … with the feeling of … having just had a heart felt talk with my grandmother. Odd but very comforting and truthful….. so 🥰

I had this existential crisis.. Back in the time, after I got "depersonalization" after hospitalization for an eating disorder.. It was, of course, followed by hundreds of childhood traumas. So I just could not comprehend the world anymore. The "fact" that life should be just about working, eating sleeping, repeating , people laughing even when its not funny. It was so obvious to me that people were so miserable, yet pretending. I was not pretending. 13 at that time. Nevertheless, I still knew that even though the whole world seemed so happy about material possessions and those stupid little things(for me, it was), And i just could not comprehend that life should be just about work, eating, sleeping, repeating that all, laughter even when it's not funny. It was so obvious to me that people were so miserable yet pretending so damn well. Man,I never knew how to pretend. I isolated myself completely from everything that included real life for about 15 years. I never knew how to fit in even when I tried. Nevertheless, when I turned 25 I gave myself a chance. I was completely alone one more time, no possessions,no real friends but my brother who knew I can be better. So I really gave myself a chance. It was a matter of a year that my whole life turned magical completely. I found Alan Watts at that time, and he just blew my mind even though I didn't understand as well as I do everything that he is saying, now. He is probably the biggest reason why I knew that we are not only humans like we get born we survive, we die.. This man should be in lectures. We are all Divine. All the power is within us. It always has it always will. And we should not be so serious about this life. Okay, responsabilities should be taken seriously but ourselves should not. Be kind and fun to your life. Find a way to always see good in everything. Because there is plenty. I love you all❤
