A shaman sees trough a barrier which a priest cant see but a shaman cant give blessings which a priest can. But one thing they all have in common is that they can get rid of demons ,spirits.

A Shaman can give blessings but would rather teach you to go through your own portals and access your own blessings. A priest would rather let you believe all the power lies solely in his hands as the anointed one

A priest upholds a tradition while a shaman sees through the game. A solid routine can bring good things out of you, so there is a creative value in ritual. The pitfall is that it becomes too conservative when you lose the individual. There’s certainly a skill in working with structure and memory.
