Nice fix Allan, I swear every night I see loads of cars with just the DRL’s on only front main fronts or backlights, it’s an accident waiting to happen

You also see the same thing in bad weather conditions on the motorway people same to forget the lights area for being seen not just so you can see where you going

Is it still possible that the rain sensor is faulty, if I shine the light on sensor in lowlight conditions with auto setting, it turns off my driving lights completely even though drl should light up and says I have fault on front right and front left drl. My cluster lights up brighter also in that case and that is normal. So it seems rain sensor works atleast to some level.

Hi Alan Please I have a problem with the gers shift Hard to shifting after 30 min of driving on warm engine On cold evrithing ok Focus mk3 manual gearbox Also is little sticky for changing the gears on hot engine

check the oil level and also check the gear cables under the plastic housing where they connect onto the gearbox mechanism...there is a stud that screws into the gearbox that the gear cable connects onto which can come loose and cause tight gear changes...if all cables and mechanism are ok then could be your clutch tight on the input shaft splines

Any idea why even with a changed bulb it doesn't work on automatic daylight mode (the left side works though) but it works on the manual mode which uses the 5w filament?

Had something similar on my dad's C-max. Stripped the roof lining and found the windscreen bonding and failed and windscreen was loose.

Got same problem on my Zafira c but I haven’t got auto lights on my car and this happens on my car no drl but switch to side light it works and bulbs not broken and I’ve changed the actual holder itself

Thankfully my 2015 astra j is the poor man's trimmed model and does not have atomic lights it also does not bluetooth even do the is a button on the Stirling wheel and radio but an after market bluetooth sender fixed that problem

Astra h 2012 no sensor and the sidelights don't work on both sides with new bulbs. I know there is power to them because the previous owner fitted leds and they were flickering

My bulbs are fine even relays fine they both come on but still keep getting the check daylight running lights message

Have an astra 2011 1.4 patrol. Left drl, position lamp and low beam error. Switched relay with the right one but still error. Changed bulbs but no avail. Bought a used headlight online put that on but no avail. It doesn’t have light sensor or rain sensor like in the video. Please help.

I’ve got a annoying issue with my Astra J 2011 .. The infotainment buttons won’t work at all I can only change radio via steering wheel I’ve changed fuses & took battery off to no luck these buttons don’t even light up when I have the headlights on does anybody have any suggestions please? Still got my 2010 Astra, 109,000 miles. In the last year 2 DRL lamps replaced and one main beam, the offside dipped lamp has just failed. Other than that absolutely no problems. Best car I've ever had in the last 50 years.

It is a well known fact that Vauxhall Astra's lights only ever work within a 60 mile radius of Luton
