Bro, when you're hauling a load that weighs 50,000+ lbs or overhangs the trailer deck and is taller than the truck, then aerodynamics don't matter at all.... No one builds these trucks for aerodynamics. They build them for torque....
@ric84

@@makinwaves8147 Aerodynamics are very much a concern in modern trucks. Looks like a European truck ! (without sleeping accommodation in the cab) The safety of the cab over engine trucks is very good, smaller vehicles hit the truck so low that the driver seldom get serious injuries. And the cab is mounted on shock damping mounts. However collisions with other trucks or big vehicles is another thing, regardless the cab over or engine in front config.

Trucks like this make me yearn for the US to have kept cab overs and do trucking like Australia does it: a mix of conventional/bull nose trucks for the long road, and nimble cab overs in the city's to make it easier to work in tight spaces. Sadly that isn't really. At least the north American market can try cab overs again if one of the European brands like Scania and/or Volvo think it's worth it, and then it'll also become painfully obvious how far ahead we are compared to what the US offers

I drove one of these when I was 13. It was a single axle and a lot shorter, but it was cool. Not quite as nice as this one either.

Pretty but im a bit confused. The prestine white finish... the crommed mount ... the finish. Its impressive but contrast 180 with the work these perform. Its like gold platting a washing machine.
