You can do theatre now too. Look for community theaters around you and even just having a small role in a musical now will help you get experience in singing, acting, and dancing.

@@angelicember try to bike or something or find a route with public transport, as long as it’s not too expensive. If you can’t bike or use public transportation, try to carpool with someone at your school or something. If all else fails, you can just wait till you get ur drivers license. Hope that helps

@unique Divendal were doing Newsies! I’m not a huge part, but I am one of the few solos (not sure how that works Bc it’s fricken Brooklyn’s here so) And Ensemble, but it’s with a pretty big production company so I’m glad I got in :)

as someone who voiced twoey back in april (& was music director & co director... college is fun) you sound excellent! we kept twoey in the original octave bc my range is unbelievably weird but i’m highkey vibing with some of the ways y’all changed the vocals. also let me just say that “Rehearsal Tracks” at the end of suddenly seymour threw me violently back into tech week like. god. no idea why this vid was recommended but 11/10 has me crying and texting my cast again, what a show

oh my i remember my first day of tech week it was last year i was 12. So basically I was getting out of my costume for the addams family and I said goodbye to the directors (who are only 19 which is cool) and I saw that my dad was outside and went to the car and immediately started sobbing, talking about how I didn't think i could do it and that I wasn't able to do one of the dances, etc. Well I cried every single day of tech week that week. But the show was absolutely amazing, the cast was perfect and I didn't even miss one of my cues. We are doing legally blonde now and after that we are gonna do little shop.

I’ve been doing theatre since kindergarten and shows since 5th grade and tech week is always so crazy and no matter how many times I do shows opening night always feels so unreal to me and it’s crazy how the time flies by soooo fast. It’s like one second you’re waiting for the cast list so nervous hoping you get what you want then the next second you’re getting ready for opening night.
