I have curly and frizzy hair and I own both air wrap and air strait … I must say air strait is saving so much time and work when it comes to making it straight and creating a good base…a must have for curly girls

Hi Jamie, that’s so interesting! Glad to hear you’re loving that Airstrait and it’s helping with your frizzy hair (as I know that struggle 😅) definitely excited to get my hands on one and try it out for myself! Will be reviewing over here soon! 💕

I just bought mine last weekend and have used it twice. It adds tons of volume to my hair. My hair looks like the 1990's supermodle hair. I like it and am going to keep experimenting. I don't exactly know what I'm doing and I get confused changing the settings for the direction of the airflow. The problem I'm having is figuring out a good hair product that I think will work for my hair and I have a ton of fly aways. My hair is layered so the air blows shorter strands everywhere which causes some friz and craziness. I guess there's a huge learning curve for me.

Have you tried the dryer attachment to smooth flyaways? It really makes a difference.

Hi Lisa, welcome to the Dyson Airwrap club 😆☺️ so glad to hear it’s making your hair look like a fabulous 90’s supermodel - LOVE IT!! As Leeanne said the Flyaway attachment could be great for that! Also if you’ve just recently bought a Airwrap and need to learn the techniques of all the attachments and more about products etc check out my course: dysonairwrapcourse.thinkific.com 💕

Ok yall, here are some tips from my experience and I got beautiful results. I have very thick long wavy hair. After you wash your hair, use a micro fiber towel to help remove extra moisture. Add in your preferred hair product to reduce frizz etc Section hair , and use the blow dry get your hair to about 70% dry then go in with the Dyson brush in high/medium heat, finish with cool then wrap in a bun with a silk hair scrunchie After a few sections I use monoi heair oil by hask or use your preferred smoothening oil. I also do recommend a heat protectant spray or oil prior to applying heat on your hair 🙏🏽❤️ When finished with all secations. Smooth out hair with your hands and a little more oil then wrap into a tight low bun with silk scrunchi. Leave as is for a few hours , sleep with a silk hair cap. This is what works for me. And my hair looks like it has a fresh blow out for the next 3 days. Use dry shampoo and apply some oil to the ends to keep fresh 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I hope this helps 🌷

I do prefer the look the Airwrap smoothing brush gives me (with the body and bounce) but find that it doesn’t hold for very long before getting poofy and frizzy 😞 The Airstrait does give me a flatter, more stick straight look but the style actually holds until my next wash without getting frizzy.
@NatashaEstrada Жыл бұрын
Yeah agreed and you can still see her hair has a lot of texture underneath. I'm grateful I'm able to have both. My hair is much curlier and the airstrait is the perfect tool for what its intended for.
@jeanettecastro9136 Жыл бұрын
Totally agree! The air strait removes all frizz!! And if you use the redken big blowout your hair will be smooth with no frizz for up to 5 days! I tested it. I loooove it compared to my air wrap, however love the voluminous curls of the air wrap... depends on your mood, both are awesome 🎉

Just bought the Airwrap (there was a sale here recently as they were just about to release a few new colours). Was considering returning it as I kept getting kinks in my hair and not a nice smooth look. SO GLAD I FOUND YOUR TUTORIALS 🎉 My hair is not as wavy as yours so I’m confident this technique will work! THANK YOU ❤ Now to stop my ends getting all weird and flicky when I use the curling barrels 😂

Great video. Just subscribed. I love the AirWrap. Has been lifechanging for me. I just bought the AirStrait several days ago. It left my hair so stick straight, lifeless and awful I am going to return. Who would want to look like that? The Airwrap smoothing brushes give me all the straightening I need.
@alananoelle Жыл бұрын
Hi Christy, thank you so much - so glad you enjoyed the video 🙏💕 that’s so interesting what you’ve said RE the airstrait because I’d wondered if that would have been the case! I usually find similar to what you say - when I use a hair straightener it leave my hair super straight and limp and removes all the volume, so it’s disappointing to hear the Airstrait has the same effect! Using the smoothing brushes with the airwrap I find gets it just as straight but keeps the body & bounce!! ☺️💕

I have a question. Just bought the dyson airwrap and found with the smoothening attachment, using high heat and high airflow, it'd give off a sudden fizzy/hiss sounding burst of airflow in between passes. It lasts a second maybe two. Its annoying coz I have anticipatory anxiety and the sudden hissing noise unprovoked is debilitating for me. I wonder if you have experienced the same or do I have a faulty unit.
