A very different Mercedes Sprinter camper van conversion in three rooms

This Mercedes Sprinter camper van conversion was done to customer request by Reisemobil Manufaktur from Sohland an die Spree in Germany. What do you think of it?
I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

That over the cab storage needs a softer edge. I can just see it opening your scalp if you don’t duck soon enough. When shooting in the shower, is there a vent in there? The wine storage in the kitchen would soon have all your hootch on the floor at the first left turn

Love the layout of this and the private bathroom. Elevator bed is fab and makes the garage space so much more accessible as the bed could be raised all the time when not in use. The only downside is not having even a portable induction hob in a drawer. Seriously who lives just on coffee and raw foods from the fridge. Love where the fridge is positioned though and the way it can be easily opened from both sides so if you are outside and want a drink, you can easily get one without having to go in the van, Genius! Would need a bigger table though, but love the 3 comfy seats and you could have a folding seat if you needed to seat 4 people. Just seen the price though 😮. Bet enthusiasts could do if for a lot less.

The person who ordered this van has a small heater in the top drawer. I would prefer two rings but each to her or his own!

A thought for future videos Alan. Could you show an establishing shot of the inside of the whole interior first so we can get an idea of where things are. It's a bit like establishing shots in a movie. You do t go for the tight shot first and then reveal.

The only thing that puts me off with a van is that big door which is half blocked by kitchen units making the door remind you that it's not really a mobile home, but its's still twice the price of some mobile homes with a proper door.

I am sorry Sean, nothing comes to mind. Advice that I can give is to use diesel as it is more readily available and get an engine that can be repaired anywhere such as an old Mercedes. As for the van, I would suggest doing a self build.

Simon Goodjohn It all depends on how much money one has. I certainly would if I had other priorities in life sorted. House paid off, kids education etc It’s a lifestyle too so spending the winter in warmer climes appeals

I love the bed being so high and being able to raise and lower it and all that storage below it. Maybe they will live just off coffee and biscuits. Cracking van but not in white. Again I would love to know how winter proof it is. You mentioned the vans are not as warm as the motor homes. Is this correct?

As a rule yes, but it depends on the insulation.
