I wondered all my life why Alanis' first album hits sounded so damn powerful, besides her wonderful voice there was something else, and even tho I've been hearing both Alanis and FF my whole life I didn't know Taylor was in the drums during that period, you can feel his energy mixed with Alanis voice they give so so sooo much life and power to these songs. May he rest in peace, a true legend of our generation.

BEST VERSION OF IRONIC EVER!! SHE WAS THE BIGGEST MUSICAL CRUSH I'VE EVER HAD. SHE KICKED SO MUCH ASS. I LIKED THE ATTITUDE AND ANGST. BUT AT THE SAME TIME SHE WASN'T A ONE TRICK PONY. SHE HAD DEPTH IN HER SONGS. THE LYRICS CAME FROM THE HEART. SOMETIMES BRUTALLY HONEST AND AT THE SAME TIME BEAUTIFUL. SHE WAS THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON OF THE LATE 90'S. JAGGED LITTLE PILL WAS THE MODERN DAY'S VERSION OF THE BEATLES SGT. PEPPERS ALBUM. WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE RECORD IN ROCK MUSIC. SHE APPEALED TO POP FANS AS WELL. HER SONGS WERE FAR MORE THAN ANGER AND CURSING. HER CURSING WAS THERAPY. HER ANGER WAS HEALTHY. HOW SHE HANDLED BEING THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON IN THE LATE 90'S THANKS TO JAGGED LITTLE PILL I WILL NEVER KNOW. MARY JANE IS A MASTERPIECE OF A SONG. UNFORGIVEN IS MY FAVORITE. THE LIVE VERSION OF THAT SHOULD BE BLASTED TO ETERNITY.

@threadpoolgam3s535 Yes I understand and thank you so much. But the other commenter refers to "almost 50 million" copies sold. And since it's likely that such albums, much like Sgt Pepper, Led !eppelin V, Dark Side of the Moon, etc would likely continue to sell over time. Since the 33 million number has been around for almost a decade, did the organizations keeping track of sales stop reporting? Or did the album completely stop selling? If you know ...
