Man. I came from interviews she did when she was 21 and to these newer ones. She is so articulate and intelligent. The way she speaks and writes just blows my mind.
@CocoBlams9 жыл бұрын
To people getting mad about her using "big words". It's pretty clear by listening to her lyrics that she likes strange, complex words. Why do you find it so insufferable she expresses herself this way in conversation too?
@beachstreet1019 жыл бұрын
CocoBlams I love her words and the way she describes things. I think people prefer her to be a one word sound bite such as a Miley Cyrus. You're no longer allowed to be an intellectual apparently.

I LOVE her words :)
@Jordan611626 жыл бұрын
the bigger her vocabulary the bigger her arsenal of tools for articulation, which is completely the business of an artist. shes translating metaphysical experience into the physical to share with us, why not allow her every and any word shes needs?

her and Ashley Judd..two very well spoken/ speaking ladies..the 2 of them having a conversation together would be an amazing learning and listening experience.
@TheOnionPrince6 жыл бұрын
You know, it's weird, I see people commenting about this again and again...but most of her vocabulary isn't even that advanced or complicated, not anything you couldn't read in most books (She talks the way other people write.) What she says is still understandable; it's 99% plain English. I don't get it.

She's one of my favorite singers and just personalities in general. This was very relaxing hearing her perspective. For me forgiveness is easy yet hard. Difficult to explain. Its easy to forgive when someone says sorry or acknowledges there wrong but the challenge comes in when the person or persons refuse to at least give you the dignity of acknowledgement and regret for how they hurt you. When they are too selfish to just do that much that's where the challenge comes in. Somehow you are having to come to your own peace and closure because they won't give it to you. Thats the hardest and most hurtful thing because I lot of the freedom in your heart could be healed and the shattered pieces of ur heart can be mended by two simple words but they won't give you that

lunar scorpio, emotions so deep that hell seems shallow... gemini sun, the abity to express and communicate all that. she transformed her pain into art, like a boss, reaching millions. she could easily hide in her beauty, fame, wealth and success, yet she is humble, and human, and publicly shares how she isnt perfect. she admits to identifying as a victim to blame others, and justify anger. she could easily just ignore all this difficult shit. she could easily ignore her flaws, ignore her imperfections, and ignore growth. she could live in bliss, avoid accountability, and do whatever she pleases. yet she chooses to work on herself, to be vulnerable and open publicly, and to share herself with everyone. many of her songs validate my feelings that i feared no one understood, and helped me forgive.

i love the moment when you realize from the communication of another (a stranger) that - given their life path and introspection of it - you and them have arrived at the same conclusion completely independent of each other.. Its like when you've "touched" or "seen"(experienced or felt) "god" (aka truth, passion, love etc.) you can immediately notice the same feeling/experience in another. "God" is a universally primordial common denominator within in us all. When you truly learn about yourself, you do so as well learn of others.

I love this. When she discusses the difficulty of forgiving too soon it was powerful and relatable. Recently I've been reflecting about forgiveness and I am finding that forgiveness is only healthy when you know how to set boundaries. When you learn how to heal instinct injury by knowing how to set boundaries, it becomes safer and more natural to forgive because you are then able to navigate how you relate to others unconscious and "toxic" behaviors toward you. I would even go so far as to say that learning how to set conscious boundaries is the foundation of awakening as it is about self-honoring and instinctive wisdom at its core state.

YES! She mentioned “attachment”... researching The Attachment Theory and discovering my “attachment style”, Fearful Avoidant, made everything make sense regarding my negative core beliefs, destructive thought and behavior patterns. And by far the best thing to come out of the action I took to change was my ability to then forgive my parents for their neglect. Generational trauma... as babies we attach to either a secure or insecure caregiver usually a parent. They are our mirror... what are they showing us, what messages are we filing in our subconscious and what does the energy around us feel like...oh HUMILITY is so important in healing. “If you do not practice humility, you WILL be humbled” and it may not be so pretty. 😉You ROCK Alanis

What strange comments. Just wanna say Thank You. I am working on the virtue of Forgiveness now, in life. To one person, specifically, it is most difficult. I even gave myself a deadline this month. From hearing this, I am given so much to think/feel about. I have to feel all that stuff first?? Not just come from a higher place? Tedious! Most of the time I just come from that higher place. I see why This Time it is more difficult. I thought I was done feeling all that stuff. Thanks for the deep juicy tidbit. It's years later, but I am going to take this challenge. Hopefully there is still info up about it. Thanks Doug, thanks Alanis.

What a blessing to hear someone talk about "forgiveness" and that often we are not quite ready to do so. Forgiveness only comes to me when I finally can understand the person and accept what terrible thing they have done. Sometimes there is NO "understanding" therefore NO "forgiveness" and that's OK too. Sometimes we need to have NO CONTACT to protect ourselves from abusers, and ask God to take care of them and let KARMA take it's place. Forgiveness is less important than ACCEPTANCE in my own mind, which says "this is who they are and they will never change," ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON. Amen.

The herald of cups , the justice card, and the 6 of pentacles card with temperance For me in my tarot deck it'd mean a social invitation / an emotionally open invitation that brings fairness and justice energy. The 6 of pentacles symbolizes a gift of empathy, and a gift of kind energy💚A gift of balance.
