Alanis -- If you actually read this I have been watching your videos for a couple of hours now. You were one of my favorite celebrities in general when I was little.. And I've only just realized what your song "Hands Clean" really meant. I have spent the better part of a week thinking about that song and crying. This is going to sound probably so ridiculous but I am sitting here right now just in absolute awe of your beauty, grace and bravery. I truly, to the core. love who you are (of course, of what I've seen being that I've only ever seen you through a screen which must be a strange feeling for you, and is definitely a strange feeling for me.) but I genuinely relate to the way you think and feel, and the way you present yourself to the world, and I wish all the best for you.

Those chairs look really, really, comfortable. Great sound, video and awesome content. I love AM, but maybe this is a little too much monologue on my part, 😂. And a question AM, why is the "does she speak eloquently" significant in YOK. Personally speaking, I love an eloquently spoken, intelligent, real, passionate woman with alot to say. Just like AM in this presentation. So real. So much beautiful energy. Touches my soul. Or certainly resonates, inflames with a feeling in my chest, my throat. I haven't fully explored those feelings in my chest, yet. Almost make me want to cry with happiness at points. To find someone so real, honest, open, who has done so much work on herself. And the speaking eloquently, is beautiful. Has to be listened to. This talk is absolutely beautiful.

You B.E.A.Utiful creature, you. As I think to have missed out on that during my early stages of development, I come to believe that with your help, amongst others, I've gotten a second chance for life. This could reduce me to 50.000 cosmic tears, that I've wept for our Mother but due to my newly thought containment, the 'show' must go on. ;-)

less pyramids everywhere, thanks The development of technology is the example of the inferiority complex. Spiritual or matherial technology is the same as that: the need for control. Yet you dont need to consider this until you need to consider this. OW!, logic, maths, common sense?¿, since when those have had any protagonism?. Wilderness is there to make us aware through the force of pain of humilty.

It's obvious that Alanis M. has studied and done her homework but the interviewer seems to be fading away under the weight of all the jargon. It's "Ironic" that there was not much conversational connection, although there was a lot of helpful information on Narcissism.

I wonder if in our society we over think a lot, demand a lot of each other and in pursuit of battling narcissism, compete to be the top narcissist?
@Ohsky48 жыл бұрын
"over think", that should be considered an insult.

We don't overthink. We think about the wrong things. Alanis, here, is not scared to analyze and reflect upon daily human life and herself. Most people are too scared to stop for two seconds and take a look at themselves .
@ap30083 жыл бұрын
I think I understand what you are saying...In my point of view, people who have an interest in studying narcissism were being very hurt and don't know how to explain it. To me, narcissism means an excessive interest in the image we present to the world, aka persona. I believe a lot of families have dysfunctionality pased on by generations. What I agree with you is that I don't think it's helpful to see things in black and white: "we are good", "they are bad" because they suffered trauma too. However, we all need to learn to defend ourselves from being hurt. And to do work to grow...
