Hi, Jeff! Im definitely including this one in my vocal toolbox! I found it to be particularly useful today in helping to remove/ thin out phlegm from my cords due to allergies.

I really like the simplicity of the exercise which then enables me to focus on that stretch idea as well as keeping the breath moving and keeping the neck released the whole way! I really think you are onto gold here as far as creating focused videos that can help even more people improve! Thanks again.

What about larynx Jeff?Where it is?Neutral or like yawn position in the end?
@JeffAlaniStanfill
@JeffAlaniStanfill 2 жыл бұрын
The larynx is in a position of relaxation in this concept. It's fdefinitely not up, but shouldn't be forced down either. So "nuetral" is perfect! Thanks again for watching.

I'm a bass, I am wondering if I'm supposed to be sounding pharyngal, almost nasal on those high F4 and G4.. Thank you
@JeffAlaniStanfill
@JeffAlaniStanfill 3 жыл бұрын
Ghenevo, I always suggest having some nasal resonance in the sound, but as a bass, you may want to think rounder vowels rather than just nasal around F4 and G4. This way you will avoid squeezing those notes. Try thinking a wide soft palate up there. Widening the soft palate can be a big help for lower voices in that area, rather than simply lifting the soft palate. I hope that helps you! Peace and happy singing! Jeff
