Wow that’s incredible value Alan and it all looked good quality too and well presented , you are just like me with the mint sauce and well done with recording it whilst filling your plate I know that’s not easy to do , you said you will be returning for the breakfast well I can tell you if it’s as good as what I had then your in for a treat , although mine was a takeaway deal for £2.79p and the sauté potatoes were delicious as were the sausages. We love a good carvery Alan. Can’t beat a Sundays dinner ! There’s a couple of decent pub carvery’s near us. In fact the South Causey now does a carvery, which is within walking distance, so may have to do a review ourselves at some point. We’ve had mixed experiences at Toby too, however for the price you can’t go wrong, especially with that mid week discount, we’ll have to sign up. Here’s us trying to drop a few pounds, but your mid week food reviews always have us drooling at the TV 😂

Oh wow that looks like a great meal. Got a little bit of everything and all together it’s a huge meal. We use to have a restaurant that had a buffet like that but they closed a few years ago. Sad to see them close. Hope you and the misses are doing well and stay safe. 👍👍

What a bargain! We were amazed at the deal so hard to fault it. You seem to be spoiled for choice, Alan, in your area so the competition is driving up quality and value. Your high score was expected but if you went to a top class restaurant, price was extortionate but quality amazing would you score it highly too? We have a Toby not far from us, to be honest not been since Morgs was diagnosed coeliac. I also have all the condiments too but more gravy (proper Yorkshire girl) 😂😂 How was it for gluten free, was thinks marked in the buffet obviously the Yorkshire pudding is a no 😊 We are really enjoying your food and accommodation reviews. Yes Mrs Metalman is coeliac too but as she still has no sense of taste or smell after Covid, even at those prices it was almost pointless her coming along. Mr Ts Carving Room 😂 well it is almost Halloween. £6, im in. Let’s hope you don’t get Mac the Knife on your third visit. Not surprised it’s busy at that price. Not sure about standing sprouts mind, I prefer mine slightly undone, aldente. Everything else looked smashing. Have to say Alan your reviews, whether it be food or lodges are in a class of their own. I did think long and hard about starting a second channel just for reviews but the thought of starting all over again was not appealing, maybe that was a mistake, still trying to work it out. Consistency is key for the youtube algorithm to know what to do with your content. It wont give you the impressions you deserve without it. I’m in the YTCC now so having it all carefully explained. Still doesn’t help putting it in practice though when you’re not a full time youtuber.
