We wish Alanna was still in LA. Her personality and knowledge are unmatched. Thanks Alanna for talking me down off the cliff of the difficult start to the season.

I think another reason for doomsday Dodger fans is because the Dodgers have been so good that every year we add more new fans. And new baseball fans. So it is great that you guys are addressing, and teaching here. Vinny used to take care of a lot of that on air by being Vinny.

I loved Alana as the Dodgers sideline reporter, but as a Dad I have to correct her. Stuart Little is a little mouse, Chicken Little believed that the sky was falling! lol. Great interview, GO DODGERS! Another clutch Dodger is Joc Pederson. Joctober is a thing. They didn't want that smoke!!

I'm not panicked. We're playing for october. We're still finding our footing. Doesn't anybody remember last season when the Phillies were in last place in like may and they had lost like 12 in a row. And they ended up in the playoffs anyway. Just calm down everybody

That being said, should we have a standing ovation for Chris Taylor the way the Phillies fans did at Citizen Bank Park for Trea Turner to break him out of his hitting slump 😂😂

I really hope ppl stop panicing. We have starters - buehler & kershaw, relievers - treinen & graterol lined to come back. Thats way better than what we added last year. It was nearly only brasier who was added. Them continuously using grove in the beginning of the year, letting relievers finish their innings as much as possible, are all part of their plan as the dodgers' goal is not focused on winning the regular season but on winning the WS. we need arms to be rested well and fresh in october, and we felt that a lot last year. Arms went down (not to mention but Urias's exit) and we were forced to use 35 yo kershaw as our no.1 starter in the postseason. Grove eating up innings in games we are losing or leading a lot, Yarbrough taking the bulk guy role, relievers not being used everytime another eliever is shaky in the mound, are all part of their plan that is not just for the 162 game span but what comes after. When we have buehler, miller, kershaw come back as starters, we can run a full 6 man rotation. When we have Graterol and Treinen back, the other relievers will have to eat up some innings at the beginning of their reinstation. And bcuz of that, their arms should be rested rotationally well so they aren't gassed up at that time. Then, we can run an effective 4 man rotation in the PS, which we didnt have for a quite a long time, with being able to use Paxton and Miller/Buehler as piggybacks to starters. About Lux? It's only three and a half weeks since his first official return after his long term injury. And that injury was on his ACL which really gives not only physical effects but also mental effects on an athlete. It's not like his 2022 season was bad. It was more than average. He has a lot of ppl he can learn from. Time will definitely solve things out for him.

Bless, Alanna, for Guidry's Guardian. Great to hear her talking Dodgers! Re: Kershaw, I think his post-season record would be a lot better if he hadn't been so adamant over many years in pitching deep into every game; i.e., he didn't have much left in the tank come October. If he makes it back this year, he should have plenty in the tank for the playoffs.

What a pleasure to have Alanna on! Well done gentlemen! She's such a Dodger girl and she needs to come back! No disrespect to Kirsten Watson at all, but I loved how Alanna covered our boys in blue. Anyway, great, great interview, and I thank her for calming my nerves about our struggles of late! haha!

My biggest big picture concern is that Mookie, Freddie, Ohtani and Teoscar are all in pace to play 162. I'm not saying sit them all the same say but certainly they can stagger it so that each one gets a day off every two or three weeks. I know it's really early and the Dodgers probably want to get some space between them and the Friars, D-Backs and Giants but something to keep an eye on. With the Giants and even last year with the Rangers, Bochy has never been afraid to occasionally rest his key position players with an eye towards October.

Might be semantics, but Dodgers have not been bounced from the 1st round the last 2 seasons. They've been bounced in the 2nd round. I think the narrative just sounds better to say "1st round KO", but the Dodgers have been so successful that they haven't had to play the 1st round. Before that, from 2016 - 2021 they made it to the NLCS or WS in every year except 2019, so I don't understand the narrative that they have "choked" in the 1st round. They only "choked" in the 1st round in 2019. I think this skid clearly shows us that teams do go through slumps, whether it is in April or October. While I'm not happy with their record or hitting with RISP in April, it'll just make it that much sweeter when they drop a 23 - 4 in May on MLB!

As much as it would be cool to go 162-0, it would be so much better to go 90-72 and win the world series. We haven't even been competitive in some postseasons. It's only exacerbated by the bad decisions made by Dave roberts. The guy still lacks instincts.
