You guys, I honestly don’t have words for what we saw today. Just… Thank you Shohei and the Dodgers for all the moments you’ve given us this season.

UNBELIEVABLE WOW! I'm a Yankees fan as I Just witness history holy crap what a game for Shohei. He is Speed and Power it's like Lightning and Thunder! MVP

I respect you for not being bitter like some fans. If Judge did this, I would be just as amazed.

NY Mets fan...I love Ohtani. He is by far the best player in baseball. Lindor is streaky..Forget WAR etc. One thing we can agree on is that Ohtani might be the most likeable athlete in America. Thoughts?

Watching the WBC and today's historic game, the WS needs to be in Miami! There's something about that stadium for Ohtani. Also, he's going to be 3-time unanimous MVP. He's the 🐐 and the 🦄.

He missed hitting 4 hr by 2 feet on first at bat. Awesome performance from sho man
@k-matsuАй бұрын
He also missed hitting for the cycle by a few inches and a good tag. Are you not entertained?!?

Unanimous MVP Lock with no questions ask. What Judge is doing many prolific batters have done but NEVER EVER a 50/50. WOW!!!

Beautiful day for Ohtani and Dodgers. But can we do this against the Padres??
@tootspogsforever5590Ай бұрын
Most definitely!! 😀
@louisrasky8143Ай бұрын
Right context matters, his team clinches the playoff, he will be in the playoffs for the first time. Most of the other records just mentioned were regular days in the season. Even the guys who hit 4 HR’s
@JohnSmith-nj4zqАй бұрын
Even if Shohei is in the AL, his stats might even be good enough to take the MVP away from Judge. The NL has no competitions against Shohei.

56 stolen bases. That's how many ichiro had as a Japanese born player. That's next.

That girl in the pink that ran out of the way of the 49th homerun instead of trying to catch it is going to have regrets the rest of her life!
@tootspogsforever5590Ай бұрын
Some spectators were interviewed and told that th ball was really fast. That's how lethal Shotime's HRs can be at times😊

@tootspogsforever5590Ай бұрын
I doubt that. He won't stop himself just because he's in the 50-50 club. Stolen bases probably but not slugging for HRs 😊

Hey Everyone. I'm a Japanese. I wonder how many percentage of American know Shohei Ohtani in real life. Only the people who like baseball know him???
@JohnSmith-nj4zqАй бұрын
Most people in the U.S like Basketball and Football more. The majority of the people know him but they probably never watch him play.
@rolandoortiz1528Ай бұрын
Not anymore . They will know who he is even if they don't like baseball. That's how it works. Like Michael Jordan. Mike Tyson etc.
@GrantGunsАй бұрын
At this point he's pretty much a household name. Most of the ppl watching his highlights aren't even baseball fans. They just know he's a once in a generation athlete.
@LegalMind-ds4wrАй бұрын
I would say a healthy majority of Americans know who Ohtani is. He was covered on every major news throughout today.
