Is it possible to use a 375 ruger or 458 win mag barrel inn the classic when using apropriate magasine and bolt ? Or are any further mods needed ?

I'm glad you're considering a Schultz & Larsen Victory Thumbhole, you won't be disappointed. Regarding the comb/cheek piece, the design of it allows it to be adjustable for the most comfortable head position and S&L designed it with a spring loaded mechanism, therefore there is a movement in the comb when loose (otherwise it wouldn't be able to raise or lower without additional force). But when you tighten up the toggle on the side and press the comb forwards, it locks in place and provides a solid comb to rest your cheek on. I hope this helps.
